Dr. Anthony G. Bassanelli M.D.  Dr. Bassanelli is a board certified adult psychiatrist with extensive experience working with clients with co-occurring chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders.  He is a graduate of Albany Medical College in Albany, New work.  He completed his residency in psychiatry at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute in 1988.  He is the psychiatric medical director at the Oasis Rehabilitation Center, Inc., which is Riverside County’s psychiatric hospital in Indio.  He also has a private practice in Palm Desert.

Dr. Bassanelli’s strengths include his expertise in psychopharmacology, his skill in managing detox regimens, diagnosing psychiatric disorders in the presence of addictive disorders, his ability to develop empathetic relationships with his clients, and his vast experience working in a team approach in the management of clients and their families.
